How do I become a Premier Host?
As soon as you meet the eligibility criteria outlined below, you’ll immediately gain acceptance into the programme and can start using the benefits. There’s no need to apply.
The criteria are the same for all partners, whether you list one property or a hundred. To earn Premier Host status, you need to meet the following based on the combined performance across all listings in your account based on a rolling 12-month period*:
- 95% or higher booking acceptance rate
- Under 1% or lower owner-initiated cancellations
- 4.4 or higher average review rating
- Five or more bookings (or 60 or more booked nights)
- Three or more reviews from travellers
*Effective 1 January 2024
After you meet these criteria, celebrate! You’ll immediately become a Premier Host.
Here are some examples of how performance is measured:
- Owner-Initiated Cancellation Rate: If you have five properties with 100 combined bookings, and cancelled one of those bookings, your overall owner-initiated cancellation rate would be 1%.
- Average Review Rating: If you have five properties with 10 combined bookings, and five bookings received a 5.0 rating and five bookings received a 4.5 rating, your average review rating would be a 4.75.
While performance standards will increase from time to time, partners will be notified prior to any updates.
This programme is currently not available in Brazil, Singapore or Japan.

What happens when I meet the Premier Host criteria?
As soon as you meet all of the criteria, your properties will display a Premier Host badge in search and on your listing, and you can start enjoying all the benefits that come with Premier Host status.
Eligibility is revisited quarterly, with assessments on 1 February, 1 May, 1 August and 1 November, covering the last 365 days. Partners who don’t meet the criteria will be removed from the programme — but can get right back in as soon as they do meet them.

As a Premier Host, all your properties qualify for the following benefits:
- A Premier Host badge tied to your profile and shown across every listing in your account, even new listings.
- Automatic increase in search position
- A Premier Host filter to help your listing stand out to travellers.

How can I track my Premier Host status?
You can view your Premier Host status and track your performance towards the criteria in your scorecard. You can also download a report to see metrics for each booking, to help you identify where to focus to achieve Premier Host status.
