Preparing for your first guest

• Ensure that travelers can find and access your property. Providing timely check-in instructions is an essential part of their pre-arrival experience. At a minimum, provide them with the property address, check-in time, and detailed instructions on how to access your property.

• Prepare your home for guests. From kitchen essentials to toiletries, guests expect your home to be stocked with all the basics for a great stay. Review these checklists to make sure you’ve got it all.

Add amenities to your listing
From your dashboard, visit “Edit property” then “Amenities”.
 

• Maintain a safe vacation rental. Protect travelers by providing essential safety equipment and features in your property. These include carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, deadbolt locks, and outdoor lighting. Visit the trust and safety page to learn more.

Add safety features to your listing
From your dashboard, visit “Property”, then “Edit property”, and “Healthy and safety”.
 

• Get the support you need. Find service providers to help you with everything from photography to check-in and maintenance so you can relax and know everything’s taken care of.
