No tax collection through our platform

  • You’ll collect, file, and pay your taxes outside of our platform.
  • You control your lodging and tax collection with this option.
  • Collection, filing, and remittance of your vacation rental taxes are manually done by you.
  • You will not receive a generated report from us.
  • You're responsible for filing and remitting.
  • This option is free.
  • Benefits include full control of your collecting, filing, and remittance.

Option 2:

Taxes as collected, you file and pay

  • Lodging taxes are collected during each booking.
  • Your taxes are sent to you at no extra cost.**
  • Just file and pay as you normally do.
  • You save more time with this option.
  • Collection of your vacation rental taxes is automated; filing and remittance are manually done by you.
  • You'll receive a generated report from us.
  • You're responsible for filing and remitting.
  • This option has not extra cost, but our regular payment processing fee still applies.
  • Benefits include automatic collection, full control of your filing, and remittance.

  • MyLodgeTax experts identify and apply for any tax accounts and licenses/registrations required for tax compliance.***
  • We automatically collects lodging taxes for each booking.
  • Your taxes are sent to you at no extra cost.
  • Your bookings are automatically loaded into your MyLodgeTax account, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • MyLodgeTax prepares and files your returns, allowing for manual revenue entry from other property bookings
  • MyLodgeTax retrieves tax funds from your bank account to pay taxes on your behalf.
  • Collection, filing, and remittance of your vacation rental taxes are automated.
  • You'll receive a generated report from us.
  • MyLodgeTax is responsible for filing and remitting.
  • Benefits include automatic collection, MyLodgeTax files and remits with your approval.
