How to respond to travellers:
Use the mobile owner app to respond to traveller enquiries, accept bookings and more.
To check traveller enquiries, view your inbox. Then you can tap each enquiry to see more.
To reply to travellers, tap ‘reply’. Then choose between our default templates for ‘available’ or ‘unavailable’, or customise your own reply.
To remove the payment request from your reply, you can delete the Request Payment field.
To manage bookings, use your inbox to ‘accept’ or ‘decline’. To decline, choose your template, then ‘decline’ or ‘send’, depending on your phone. Note that when declining, you must choose a reason why.
To edit booking requests, go to ‘payment’ in your inbox. Here you can edit and update your quote. Attach the quote to your message, then send.
When you edit a booking request, the original request is automatically declined, the traveller’s payment is cancelled and a new payment request is created. Once the payment request is sent, the traveller will need to accept the new terms and re-enter their payment information to complete the booking.
How to manage your rates and calendar
To create a new booking or block dates, go to the ‘calendar’. Then ‘add’ your range of dates to edit. If these dates are ‘tentative’, you can mark them as such. Don’t forget to tap ‘save’ or ‘done’ when you’re finished.
To edit existing bookings, go to the ‘calendar’. Then select the date and booking you need to edit. When you’re finished, tap ‘save’ or ‘done’, depending on your phone.
To edit your rates, go to the ‘calendar’ and select the range of dates you’d like to edit, then select ‘rates’. Android users will simply choose the date to edit. When you’re finished editing, tap ‘save changes’. Android users will tap ‘done’ and then ‘save’.
How to manage your listing
It’s simple to make changes to your listing, such as updated information or new photos.
How to add photos
iPhone:
To add photos, go to ‘listings’, then choose the property you want to edit. Tap any photo to open the photo editor, then select ‘add photo’. You can choose a photo from your library or tap ‘use photo’ to take a new photo.
Android:
To add photos, go to the house icon. Choose your property to edit and then tap any photo to open the editor. Tap the ‘+’ icon to add a photo from your library or to take a new photo. If you’re taking a new photo, be sure to tap ‘save’.
The minimum size photo required for upload is 1024 x 683 pixels. We recommend uploading photos that are 3840 x 2160 pixels or higher for the best quality.
How to delete photos
iPhone:
To delete photos, go to ‘listings’, then choose the property to edit. Tap any photo to open the editor, then choose ‘edit’. From there you can ‘choose photos’ to delete, then select each photo to ‘delete’. Tap ‘OK’ to save.
Android:
To delete photos, go to the house icon, then the property to edit. Tap any photo to open the editor, then select ‘edit’ and the photos you want to delete. Then use the rubbish bin icon to delete.
How to add photo captions
To add captions to your photos, go to ‘listings’ or the house icon, depending on your phone. Then select the property to edit and tap any photo to open the editor. Then choose the photo you want to edit, ‘add caption’ and then ‘save’.
How to reorder photos
Note that your first photo will be the first photo travellers see in search results.
To reorder your photos, go to ‘listings’ or the house icon, depending on your phone. Then choose which property to edit. Tap any photo to open the editor, then ‘edit’. From there, select ‘reorder photos’, then tap and hold to reorder. iPhone users can tap ‘done’ to save.
